Catherine is lead researcher and project manager on the Chronic Illness Inclusion Project.
Catherine has worked as a policy researcher with Mind, Action for M.E., the Spartacus Network and Inclusion London. She has a keen interest in researching service users’ experiences of government policies as a tool for campaigning for change.
Catherine was previously involved in running a local peer support group for people with M.E. All her work to date has convinced her that people with certain forms of chronic illness are among the most excluded and overlooked groups in society. This is how the Chronic Illness Inclusion Project came about.
Catherine has lived with M.E. since 1988. She has two daughters.
